Serin Terms of Service

Effective 2026-07-27 · applies to Serin Intelligence and Serin Cloud

Self-hosting the open-source core needs no agreement. It is licensed under AGPLv3, free forever, and nothing here restricts it. These terms cover the two paid products only.

What you're buying

Serin Intelligence — $6/month or $60/year A licence key that unlocks the Intelligence pack on a Serin instance you run.
Serin Cloud — $8/month or $80/year A hosted Serin account. We run the server; Intelligence is included.

Both renew automatically until cancelled.

Cancelling

Cancel any time at serin.money/cancel or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for — you keep what you bought until then, and you are not charged again.

Refunds

All sales are final. We don't offer refunds — not on a first charge and not on renewals. What you can always do is cancel: you keep everything you've paid for until the end of the current period, and you aren't charged again.

If something on our side was broken — Cloud was down, or a licence key we issued didn't work — tell us and we'll make it right.

If you're in the UK or EU, statutory consumer rights that can't be waived apply notwithstanding the above.

What we ask of you

Don't resell or redistribute the Intelligence pack or your licence key; it is for instances you run. Don't use Cloud to attack, overload, or break into anything. That's the whole list.

What Serin is not

Serin is not financial advice. It organises information you already have and produces analysis and AI-written summaries from it. Those can be wrong, including confidently wrong. Every investment decision is yours, and you should verify anything that matters with your broker's own records or a professional.

Nothing in Serin is a recommendation to buy or sell, and we are not a broker, adviser, or custodian. Serin cannot place trades.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep Cloud running and to keep your data safe, and we take backups — but we don't promise a specific uptime figure, and we can't guarantee a service free of interruption. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the problem, except where the law doesn't allow that limit.

Serin is provided "as is" to the extent the law permits. If we ever discontinue a paid product, we'll give notice and refund any unused prepaid time — and the open-source core remains yours to run.

Your data

Covered in the Privacy Policy. Briefly: self-hosting, we see nothing; on Cloud we hold your account and the portfolio data we serve back to you, and you can export it at any time.

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we'll email subscribers before it takes effect. If you don't agree, cancel and we'll refund the unused part of the period.
